Exhausted and frustrated, I had decided to officially close RSE on October 24, 2013. I posted the following message on the official RSE Facebook page:
A few months ago, I made the decision to step away and take a break from music. At first I thought I’d take at least a year off. After giving it much deeper thought – after 12 years, I have decided to retire.
I’ve lost my passion and it stopped being fun. Lately, it’s felt more like a chore than anything else. Once it gets to that point – I see no reason, at all, to continue.
Does this mean that I won’t make any new music? I don’t know. Someday I might get that itch that needs to be scratched. For now, though, I am perfectly content with this being the end.
I want to thank everyone who has supported my music over the years. You kept me going a little while longer!
This page will remain active for archival purposes.

Letting go of the music was something difficult and in a “heat of the moment”, rash decision, I deleted the original RSE website and cancelled the web hosting package for rhoqsolident.com. I won’t say that I regret the decision completely, I do feel that I may have acted a bit hastily and deleting the website was probably just a tad bit too extreme.
Since I still own the “rhoqsolident.com” domain name and the chances are likely that RSE will return before the domain expires in May of 2015, I decided to move it over to a new web host and start completely fresh. I don’t know how long it will be before the new Rhoq Solid Entertainment website is up and running. That all depends on my mood, really. I also don’t quite know what type of content will be available. Right now, I am playing around with WordPress. I’ve always liked the layouts of WordPress-based sites. I have a feeling that the new RSE site will be more of a personal Blog than anything else. We shall see.
Until next time, I hope you guys had a great holiday and wish you a happy new year.
